Stockout Escalation

Zero on hand forecast inside 48 hours. Raises the replenishment.

Target KPI On-shelf availability
Executes in ≤ 6 hours
System of record Manhattan · Blue Yonder · Relex · SAP
Trigger condition

Sell-through velocity, on-hand, lead time, and supplier reliability cross the predicted-zero threshold. Default horizon 48 hours.

Write-back

Replenishment order created in Manhattan / Blue Yonder / Relex; PO line written to SAP MM.

Every write is gated on an approver role you name. Nothing runs unattended.

Procedure
  1. Confirm against the per-store baseline. Rule out promo pull-forward and weather.
  2. Size the replenishment from the cluster demand forecast; suppress if a PO is already in transit.
  3. Open a case, assign to the category buyer, draft the order against the WMS.
  4. Gate the write-back on buyer approval. 4-hour SLA before escalation.
  5. Close when on-shelf reads confirm fill rate back above threshold.
Outcome metric

Fill rate vs. baseline over 14 days. Positive if it holds above the agreed threshold for 7 of them.

The case closes on this number, not on the action being taken. A playbook without a close condition is a dashboard.
